So with Halloween fast approaching, people attention turns to the party and the costume they might wear. It's a chance to live out a fantasy for a night, whatever that fantasy may be. Many people go for the old standard of wearing a costume to scare the wits out of their family and friends. A wench is a multi dimensional character. It dates back to medieval times and had a fairly innocent or practical meaning at the time. It simply meant a young woman. The implication, that many modern movies and literature likes to add on to this meaning is an alluring young woman. A wench is generally seen as attractive.
