I got my earlobes pierced 12 weeks ago. Can i put ANY earrings in or sterilized gold ones?
My mom says I can only put gold earrings in. I was wondering if those other cheap brands are good? And do they have to be sterilized? I read somewhere that they do. Because I can't burn my earrings, they'll melt.

they don't have to be gold, but it's a very good idea if they're "hypo-allergenic." that means they don't contain metals known to cause irritation in some people - with nickel being one of the most common types...the pain from that is not fun.
